Your skin barrier is almost resisting you. Despite showing you many signs, you don't hear her cry for help or you don't yet know it's a cry for help.

It's time to reconsider many of your skincare and lifestyle habits.

The most important thing you should do is turn to skin care products that repair your skin barrier and immediately give up your habits that damage the skin barrier.

If you don't know how to do this, CLICK HERE to read our comprehensive blog post on the skin barrier!

1- Sunscreen:

Although a sunny day is good for our mood, unfortunately it cannot be said to have great effects for our skin. Sun rays are the biggest cause of the aging process of our skin. Using sunscreen is the biggest investment you will make in your skin for advancing age. In order to have a strong skin barrier and to protect it, you should use at least 30 SPF sunscreen cream for all four seasons when going out.

We strongly recommend that you add Protect & Care Sunscreen Cream, which we have formulated and produced with 50 SPF, natural ingredients and hybrid sunscreen filters, to your daily skin care routine for effective sun protection. CLICK to review Protect & Care SPF50+ Sunscreen Cream!

Barrier-repairing ingredients in Protect & Care SPF50+ Sunscreen Cream :

  • Shea (Shea) Butter (emollient, antioxidant, regenerative)
  • Hyaluronic Acid (strong desiccant)
  • Hybrid Solar Filters (sunscreen)
  • Glycerin (moisture absorber)
  • Serine (assist in collagen synthesis)
  • Trehalose (thin film former)
  • Plant Origin Urea (strong desiccant)
  • Alginic Acid (regenerative, film former)

2-Cleaning:

It is very important when creating a skin care routine that the cleanser cleans the skin without drying or stretching it. Hard washing gels, foams and soap unfortunately dry the precious oil (sebum) that the skin produces to prevent moisture loss and cause the skin barrier to thin. With the weakening of your skin barrier, it becomes more prone to acne and blackheads with dryness, tightness, redness or excessive oiliness, depending on your skin type.

Gentle cleaning consists of oil-based products. Oil-based cleansing helps balance the skin's precious sebum secretion. As a result, your skin barrier is not thinning. With gentle cleaning, problems such as moisture loss and barrier weakening that are likely to cause you problems in the long run do not occur.

  • Pure vitamin E (antioxidant, emollient)

3- Toning (Tonic) :

Three reasons can explain the importance of toning the skin after cleansing.

The first is that it is a cleaning complement in terms of purifying your pores.

The second is that before moisturizing the skin, it purifies the dead cells responsible for the dry and dull appearance on the skin and allows the moisturizing products to be better absorbed by the skin.

The third is to balance the pH (acidity) of the skin. For the integrity of the skin barrier, the pH of the skin must remain within a certain value range. The tonic is responsible for maintaining this balance.

My recommendation for toning is Evolvy Hydrate Plus Tonic. CLICK to review!

Barrier-repairing ingredients of Hydrate Plus Revitalizing Tonic:

  • Hyaluronic Acid (strong desiccant)
  • Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) (Sebum secretion optimization)
  • Allantoin (Skin tranquilizer)
  • Tea Tree, Daily, Geranium, Lavender Essential Oils (Antioxidant, skin regenerator)

4- Humidification :

Moisturizing is the most important step in skin care. Moisturizing makes the skin look more supple and lively. Well-hydrated skin does not show signs of premature aging. The moisturizing step and your moisturizer are very important to keep the barrier strong. Because sufficiently moistened skin neither secretes too much sebum nor shows reactions such as drying or flaking.

In addition, moisturizers that do not weigh on the skin and cover the skin such as a thin film layer also contribute to the barrier function physically.

The presence of barrier-repairing ingredients will also be a plus of your moisturizer.
